I'm so frustrated. I have spent hours researching WHY this is happening. I am running Windows 10 on an HP laptop. I already called Sena, sent diagnostic logs and they say it's my USB cable....whatever! I'm using the one that came with the device. So, they send me a new one and I'm still getting the same error message. Please someone help! I've searched everywhere and tried everything. About ready to run this over w my car.

Hyper Pete Here you go. (Sena won't help or support you- trust me, they have not replied to me since 2017!) You can find workarounds here:

LeRoy Smith It is not the cable. SENA data ports are failing on these devices. They will charge, but no computer will recognize the device once the port fails on the device. I have several SENA 20S devices.....some work and update with no issue using the same cable and device manager on my HP laptop. Has to be the devices.
