The cardo unit connects to the universal intercom function of the Sena using the phone pairing function of the cardo. Hope that helps

Have you tried 2nd mobile phone pairing? You didn't mention what sena device you have but most have this feature.

Download user guide. Section 8.7 (page 43) shows how to set up universal intercom to pair with non-sena headsets.

It could be the speaker wires. If you have a pair of earbuds that work, plug them in to the aux out plug and see if the problem persists. If not, then likely a speaker wire problem.

If problem occurred after Sena update try deleting the pairing on the phone. Re-pair and the phone should pair with the current Sena update. That may give you back your functionality.
