Since the firmware update 1.1.1 there has been an improvement, but it's still not perfect. Hopefully when the firmware 2.0 comes out, it will be sorted. :)

Do you have both Antennas sticking out? I have my boom mic pressed right up against the inside of my helmet in front of my mouth, me and my friend have had no issues regarding to such noise. :)
