@Mark, The SMH5 does not support VOX intercom. This should not happen to an SMH5 headset unless you are accidentally hitting the big jog dial button.

To the issue with not connecting "media audio", try the following: 1. Delete all the devices paired on your phone 2. Power cycle the phone. 3. Pair the phone with your Bluetooth intercom headset.

Mike, Try downloading the actual firmware manually. https://www.sena.com/category/firmware/firmware-10r/ Then use the "browse" function in the Sena Device Manager to point to this firmware file.
