Check the contact pins on the unit to the base. I had issues with that a few times. Sometimes those pins don't fully contact the mount or they could be dirty.

I forgot to update this. I ended up doing a rma for my unit having this problem. They sent a new in the box unit with updated firmware. Did not have issues updating to the last two firmware release...

So, if you are having issues with this, I suggest going ahead with the rma. It will take about two weeks depending on your location to get it back from the day you send it off.

Possibly, but I've gotten an up to two week processing period from the time they receive the unit.. And I have not had that issue, although my video tagging does lose sync between video and audio. ...
