FIRMWARE RELEASE NOTES AND ABILITY TO SEE IT IS GONE ON LINE
WELL SENA DID IT AGAIN ON FIRST RELEASE OF 50 S VS THE NEWEST RELEASE OF 50S WITH HARMON KARMIN SPEAKERS THE RELEASED NEW DEVICE MANAGER 4.40 AND NEW FIRMWARE FOR FIRST RELEASE OF 50 S VERSION 1.2.2 WITH NO HISTORY AS TO WHAT IT ADDRESS. WHY CANT THEY TELL US SO WE DECIDE IF WE WANT TO UPDATE FIRMWARE OR NOT DOES IT ADDRESS A ISSUE WE HAVE OR WILL IT CAUSE NEW ISSUES WE DONT WANT, THERE FIRMWARE VERSIONS NEED TO BE BETTER EXPLAINED SO WE KNOW WHAT WE ARE GETTING I HATE THERE INABILITY TO LISTEN TO THE USERS I HAVE 3 DIFFERENT OLD VERSION SENA 10 SENA 20 SENA 50 I HAVE MADE QUITE AN INVESTMENT

Firmware addressed for first edition of 50s version is 1.2.2 but

The release notes show for various versions but 50s-01 and 01D show going up to 1.2.1. I don't see a 1.2.2 update. Can't help you beyond what I see. A call to Sena Support may have the answers you seek.

I plugged in my 50 s new device manager after install told me new firmware for my unit was now version 1.2.2,downloaded it
And your right does not show up firmware history so I have no idea

Most likely it was for minor bug fixes and compatibility issues given the update from 1.2.1 to 1.2.2. Feature and operational changes usually involve a major revision such as going to 2.0 or something like that. Hope the change doesn't cause any issues for you.

The last firmware update for the 50 S original, not the Harman carman in the history. It said it corrected the problem with Siri just opening and closing and not being able to respond. I have the latest software which is still not listed on the website I believe it’s 1.2.2. What is Siri still doesn’t work that way it’s supposed to. I can activate it it open screenshots down before you have a chance to ask you a question.
